About ProAge

Working with employers to build age-inclusive, multigenerational workplaces.

ProAge is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to age inclusion at work and a certified social enterprise. We partner with employers to create workplaces that retain experienced staff, reduce skills loss and strengthen long-term workforce resilience.

With one in three workers now over 50, organisations tell us they are looking for practical ways to respond to demographic change, improve retention and build a workforce that is sustainable for the future. Our role is to help employers navigate that journey with clarity, evidence and confidence.

What we do

Deliver Practical Workforce Solutions

We work alongside HR, Talent and DEI teams to provide practical tools, training and employer diagnostics that address skills gaps, support older workers and build stronger, more inclusive workplace cultures.

Strengthen Multigenerational Collaboration

We help organisations improve how teams work together across generations — supporting better communication, knowledge transfer and innovation.

Champion Age-Inclusive Workplaces

We offer guidance, campaigns and best practice resources that help employers embed age inclusion, reduce age bias in recruitment and create fair progression opportunities.

Research & Employer Insights

We collaborate with academic partners and policymakers to generate evidence-based insights on age inclusion, flexible working, demographic change and workforce resilience — giving employers the information they need to plan ahead.

Our Impact

Organisations we work with report:

stronger workforce planning and reduced turnover

better attraction, retention and development of experienced workers

improved multigenerational team performance and knowledge flow

more inclusive workplace cultures, supported by training and practical tools

greater confidence planning for demographic and labour-market change

Our Belief

Age inclusion is not a DEI add-on — it is a shared workforce challenge and opportunity. As people work longer, employers who value and retain experienced staff protect critical skills, strengthen their pipelines and build organisations that are more adaptable and resilient.

We are committed to working with employers on this journey, helping them take practical steps that benefit people, performance and the future of work.
