A different way to stay in construction

Many experienced construction workers want to keep contributing to the industry but not always in physically demanding site roles.

At the same time, colleges across the UK need people with real construction experience to help train apprentices.

This event explores how experienced tradespeople can move into teaching, mentoring and training roles so their knowledge is passed on to the next generation.

Who should attend?

This session is for people with construction experience including:

  • Tradespeople approaching retirement

  • Site managers or supervisors stepping back from site work

  • People looking for less physical roles
