How we helped:

We offered a training to 400 of the company’s European staff about the impact of ageism. The training was accompanied by a panel discussion with three of the company’s senior executives on the benefits of multigenerational teams from a business and HR perspective.

About:

The Saga brand has become one of the most recognised and trusted brands amongst UK consumers aged over 50 and is recognised for its high-quality products and exceptional standards of service across cruise, travel, insurance, money and media.

How we helped:

We collaborated with Saga to write a case study about their chauffeur programme, which employs 170 drivers across the UK many of them older workers. The programme ensures that Saga customers’ holiday starts the moment they wake up on their day of departure, rather than when they reach their destination. Many drivers are of similar age to their customers and this
match has delivered real business benefits.

Since its inception in 1993, Castles has been the leading global provider of state-of-the-art payment solutions for financial, retail, hospitality, and transportation sectors.

How we helped:

We conducted an audit that comprised a three-stage, high-level business wide review and assessment to evaluate current D&I practices across the key protected characteristics. It included an age diversity assessment, followed by an inclusivity assessment and concluding with recommendations and follow up.

Climate X is a global climate risk and data analytics company. They help organisations become more resilient to the impacts of climate change by quantifying, at an asset level, the probability and severity of weather events decades before they happen.

How we helped:

We conducted a workshop with the company’s staff to help them understand how being an age inclusive employer brought them business advantages. During the workshop we looked at some of their job ads to see how we could make them more appealing to people from different generations.

Powered by Diversity offers a Diversity Ambassadors Certification training covering each of the nine protected characteristics under the Equalities Act. ProAge provides expert training sessions on the topic of age inclusion.

Back on the Map is a charity passionate about enhancing the quality of life of people living and visiting Hendon and the East End of Sunderland.

How we helped:

We organised two in person workshops to create a better working environment taking into account Back on the Map’s intergenerational workforce. The workshops were followed up by in person coaching sessions with staff members.
